We had the privilege of collaborating with Ibiyaya, a distinguished Taiwanese company known for its pioneering role in the luxury pet-care industry and its unwavering commitment to design excellence.
Ibiyaya approached the Whynot team with a unique challenge – to reimagine their signature pet carrier, the hardshell transparent travel carrier. They sought to differentiate it from the growing number of imitations flooding the market. Our task was to infuse innovation into a product already celebrated for its iconic status while retaining its original qualities. Additionally, Ibiyaya wanted to introduce new features.
Whynot embarked on this project with a comprehensive approach. Not only did we work on reshaping the carrier, but we also enhanced its comfort and the interaction between the pet, the product, and its owner. Our design team placed a paramount emphasis on maintaining transparency and collapsibility, resulting in the creation of two entirely new carrier models. Each of these models possesses its distinct identity, clearly setting them apart in the market.
Portico and Bubble Hotel, the fruits of this collaboration, aspire to become trendsetters in the pet-care industry. They showcase an abundance of style and feature unexpected details, representing the remarkable synergy between Ibiyaya and Whynot’s teams.
