Romeo Maestri commissioned Whynot to develop a new cordless professional stapler defined by a strong, recognizable aesthetic identity.
In a market saturated with visually complex tools, the brief called for a radical shift: clean lines, solid proportions, and a design that communicates strength and reliability through simplicity.
The new MC represents the next step in the design language Whynot has been refining since Rocamatica — a contemporary reinterpretation of the historic Rocama. With MC, this evolution reaches a new level of maturity, translating heritage into a modern, forward-looking product.

Sinuous, flowing surfaces define the body, enhancing ergonomics while giving the tool a dynamic yet controlled presence. Bold red accents punctuate the form, reinforcing brand recognition and adding a precise visual tension to the composition. The use of co-injection technology allows rigid structural elements and rubberized grip areas to coexist seamlessly, improving durability, comfort, and tactile quality.

The result is a cordless stapler that stands apart through clarity and confidence — a product where performance, ergonomics, and identity merge into a cohesive and distinctive design.
