Pizza dough press

OEM is a leading company in the catering market, specializing in products for preparing and cooking pizza.
OEM relied on Whynot to renew the various machinery for making dough, from the mixer to the press.
Since these are industrial products, generally positioned in professional kitchens and laboratories, usability and functionality become the main design drivers. The challenge was to make perfect usability and ergonomics coexist, while creating an aesthetically new and pleasant product.

The new press looks like an intersection of 2 bodies, the front part where the softer pizza is inserted in contrast with the black rear block which hides the engine.
The grid is an indispensable element for visually interacting with the product, controlling the process in perfect safety. To ensure perfect cleanability and durability, we decided to make it in metal.

In conclusion, the interface has been divided into 2 blocks, the upper panel to define the settings and the lower key, often used even with floured hands, for immediate and practical interaction with the product.
