Two sides, two functions, one simple gesture.
Designed by Whynot Design for Ultrean, this wireless meat probe is built around a clear separation between interaction and storage. One side is dedicated to the interface, combining a display and controls for monitoring temperature and managing the cooking process. The other houses the probe, keeping it protected, accessible, and always stored within the product itself.

This dual-sided architecture gives every surface a specific purpose and makes the product intuitive from the first interaction. Rather than adding features or visual complexity, the design uses the form itself to communicate how the object should be used.

The protective case also works as a remote controller, allowing users to monitor cooking from up to 150 metres away. A magnetic interface lets the device attach directly to a fridge or other metal surface, keeping cooking information visible and within easy reach.
Compact, self-contained, and designed around the rituals of outdoor cooking, the product brings control, storage, and portability together in a single object.
